What is the Preservation Action Registries
The Preservation Action Registries is a protocol to share Digital Preservation knowledge and skills between different
products, users and experts. It allows file format information to be shared along with what you can do to these formats,
for examle how to identify them, how to extract their properties, how to validate them and how to migrate
them to a new format.
This tool is allows you to read this information from any PAR compliant registry. You can then choose to copy this
information to your own registry or continue your research.
